Below you will find my website tips where you can implement some great ideas into your own website.

1. I always make sure when I design a website that website is between 800 to 1200 pixels wide.
2. I prefer to have most of my images made up using the jpeg format or gif format.
3. Your webpages should contain about 350 words and no more. No point making 1 page 900 words long when you can divide this into 2. Having 2 webpages is better than 1 and if optimized correctly each page can bring you search engine results.
4. Use keywords as part of the domain name.
5. Don’t use link farms to promote your site. A link farm is a page or multiple pages of links you have listed on your page and with your website link on similar page used by others. You will be banned by the search engine and it may effect your website business for several years. I personally have experienced this. Time adds up. By the time you figure out what has happened, you make the necessary changes and wait for the site to be unbanned could take 2 years.
6. Use your own content and don’t copy anyone elses.
7. Building a website for your real Business? Add your cell or contact number on the top left hand side of your banner.
8. Keep away from annoying blinking images or text.
9. Don’t use ready made cookie cutter templates because your website may just end up looking like someone elses.
10. Don’t use annoying pop up webpages when someone visits your website because these are really annoying.
11. Make sure you space out your content on your website and don’t have it too cluttered.
12. If you are not using a css use a 1 color image for your background. If you need to change the background color its just a matter of changing the image.
13. Don’t use distracting tiled type of images unless you want your website to look like a site from the 90′s and have an amateur feel to it.
14. Make sure your website links never change so position these in the one spot and leave them there.
15. Your website visitor should only be 2 mouse clicks away from viewing the intended content. As a rule this should not exceed 3 mouse clicks.
16. Get opnions ffrom 3 to 4 different people about your new website. Don’t initiate any talk about whats on your mind about the website. If its an issue teh people you have easked to help view your site will bring this up.
