required. Java script and some css files rely on your visitor to have a web browser that is compatoble with the scripting your use on your webpages.

Java itself is slow and relies on Java to be installed on your visitors computer. Java is also no longer being automatically installed during a windows XP installation.

Why do I say keep away and what do they have all in common? These concepts rely on your visitor to have either plugins or software installed or they need to use a web browser that supports what you have designed
using one of the above technologies.

Some old java scripting will work on most browsers but it’s a matter of finding the right scripts for you.

9. Have no more than 1 animated banner per webpage. These look unprofessional and have negative stigma attached to them by new web surfers.

10. Don’t use too many colors in your text and keep your color format of your web site within 3 colors only. Make sure these colors you choose work well together.

11. Avoid using slow loading images. Use a quality image editing program and make your images as small as possible in KB size without too much loss of image quality.

A DPI setting should be set at either 72 or 96 DPI.

12. Keep your web site design simple and clean from any mouse trails and
from any clutter.

13. Poor Spelling. make sure you do a spell check on all of your webpage’s.

14. If you’re adding music when your webpage loads make sure you have a play and stop button visible on the webpage. are lots and this is a common mistake.

15. It’s important you provide a contact e-mail so your visitors can contact you.
