Organisation Website

Organisation Websites - Generally these type of website’s don’t manage any sales and the primary focus is to promote the organisation in question. These type of website’s maybe charities or sporting clubs and most of these website’s are content driven and focused around the relevant community the organisation is targeting.

Creating a website for an organization can have its moments where in house politics may get involved in the building process with so many ideas coming from every direction. If you’re looking at building a website for your organization make sure everyone participates and you have your answers for the topics and look and feel you will cover so you don’t get interrupted during the website building stage.

A website for an organisation or charity has a target audience of it’s members and potential new members that can join over time. Information such as event times, info guides, meeting schedules, agendas and so on can be made available either by a member login or the information being made available to everyone.

This is a decision you will need to make with the organization committee that has commissioned the website.
With my experience I find that generally there may be up to 2 people who will manage the content of a website like this and its best this type of website uses a database driven system that has an admin control panel where members with certain permissions can login and manage the website content easily without worrying too much on how to use FTP and website building software.

These types of website’s generally have a member forum only as well where information can be shared amongst members with a ho create a question and answer type of forum.
