Web Site Theme

Web site theme are important when you build a web site because search engines love these types of web sites and they reward them by ranking them in their search engines.

So what’s a theme?
A theme is what your web site foundation is about.

Lets look at an example.

I want to build a website about Green Frogs. My theme is Green Frogs.

Once I find out what people are searching for in Google about Green Frogs then I can work around these words and order my domain. Lets say for example I have found that people search for green frogs as pets.

I find that the domain name www.greenfrogsaspets.com is available and that’s what my domain name will be so I go ahead and order this domain name.

One important aspect of this is that your theme must be visible in your domain name as high priority.

By using this web site theme concept as soon as people use live.com and search for Green Frogs as pets without much marketing work my website will be in the Top 10-20 of the search result. This technique does not work as well in Google but it’s a start.

Now lets say I want to build 5 web page’s which will be about:

1. What Frogs eat
2. Where frogs sleep
3.What frogs like doing
4. What frogs hate
5. Why frogs make good pets.

For each of these web page’s you will need to use keywords for each page. As part of your content it is very important that Green Frogs is used 5-7 times in each web page which will make your theme Green Frogs spread out through your web site.

Tip - DO NOT use a domain like myfavoritepet.com if your website is about green frogs. For your web site to rank in search engines your web site will need a theme.
